Djarot Wants HIV/AIDS Spread to Be Minimized

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, wants to end the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) case and decrease the spread of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in Jakarta.

The target can be made as measured output and evaluated yearly. 90 percent of People living with HIV/AIDS (ODHA) should get health service access, or Anti Retro Viral (ARV) support

He requested the Jakarta AIDS Eradication Commission to have target to meet his plan.

"The target can be made as measured output and evaluated yearly. 90 percent of People living with HIV/AIDS (ODHA) should get health service access, or Anti Retro Viral (ARV) support. Write down the target from 2015 until 2020," he told Beritajakarta.com during a workshop discussing about ending the AIDS epidemic, Wednesday (10/7).

Djarot asked the workshop must create a successful result. The programs must be also worked fully to tackle AIDS and HIV in Indonesia, especially Jakarta.
